Recently, people are focused on the air quality. And generally speaking, the air pollution in China is still seriously. Beijing, as the capital of China, also can’t escape from this problem. So I think it’s necessary for the public to know the situation of air pollution. Then I began to do this theme. This work consists of 3 parts. The first part reviews air quality of Beijing in 2015. In this part, I want to show the air quality based on time. It can help audiences know the basic information about the whole year’s air quality. The second part is the statistic data of all kinds’ air quality. I adopted the form of traffic guidance board. And the numbers are easier to be understood by audiences. The third part is about the main pollutants in Beijing. It made by the Tableau. The bigger the circle is, the more frequently the pollutant is. And the color of each pollutant is matched to the color of itself. Finally, all data gathered from China’s ministry of environmental protection. When I finished this work, I think it maybe a little simple. But as C.P. Scott said, “facts are sacred.”
