Air quality in China is publicly known  as bad.  Longtime exposure to such polluted atmosphere could be as harmful as smoking  40 cigarettes per day, according to Berkeleyearth scientist. A  reliable source of daily air pollution could provide meaningful instruction for Chinese people’s outdoor activity. Two official datasets were used to examined the air conditions, one from the Chinese government, the other from the U.S. embassy, to tell if the air situation is truly improved as the government has announced.
